DO TELL! Do you have a strong opinion when it comes to food and drinks made in Michigan ? If so, play along on this little game of This or That? I'll go first! Mackinac Island Fudge, paczki, and Detroit Style Pizza are no-brainers for me. I love them all and would hands down pick each one if forced to choose. The drink decision is a hard one for me though, as I don't really like either of the choices. Sorry. 😩 Growing up, Vernors was the only pop my Grandma had at her house, and she always insisted on pouring me a glass when we visited. However, I was not a fan of ginger ale and it would take me quite long to drink it, which did not get any better the longer it sat and the warmer it got. 😉 We always had Faygo in our house growing up, but flavors such as red pop, grape or rock & rye did nothing for me. Today, if a Faygo diet-cola was in the mix, that would be my choice. Shoutout to puremichigan from whom we "borrowed" this idea who played their game bracket-style in honor of March Madness. DO TELL! Taking a step back into time where cars did not exist (currently just not allowed on this island). We flew our airplane to Mackinac Island and spent the day making memories. The leaves were gorgeous and the fudge was delicious. We rented bicycles and rode around the entire island (8miles), stopping so the boys could dip their feet in Lake Huron, and Jo could climb the rocks. It was cold and windy but we enjoyed every minute of our time together. We took a taxi (horse and buggy) back to the airport and made our way home. #mackinacisland #thegrandhotelmackinacisland #piperlance #fall #mackinacfudge
