Lovely but cold I'm sure...

Great picture of the Straits. My mother's Uncle was Ed Chase. He was Superintendent of the Docks for Michigan for many years in '40's, '50's, etc. Then an owner of one if the ferry companies.

When do you stop making trips for the winter?

This is a different look from June when we cross. Live it.

Wow...looks cold! I’d love to make that trek!

Wow, looks so cold. It would be scary!

Heading to the island next month....looks like it may be frozen by then.

Wow! So the ferry can still transport to Mackinaw Islands this time of year??!

This reminds me of the titanic I couldn't do it with all that ice

Brrr. Cold trip to the island today.

Incredible ♡♡♡♡♡

Wish I was there again!!

Beautiful!

Looks nice.

Beautiful

Crazy for january- gonna get colder

Afternoon sweets

They might be closing down soon of the ice is coming and getting thick

How many of you knew that we have a Skipper Store on Mackinac Island Dock 1? Inside we have antique bikes and boat motors on display as well as plenty of fun goodies to buy. Next time you're on the island be sure to check it out or pop in just to say hello! ... See MoreSee Less

We popped in there last fall, and my husband didn't want to leave as he was comparing his collections with yours...he was so envious of one of the Heddon lures that he is missing, and found out that it wasn't for sale 😉

I was impressed the first time I walked in. I thought I was walking in a warming house. Keep advertising as I had no idea it was there until I was waiting for my ferry ⛴ and needed warmth.

Love your store on the island. We always check it out

I wish I could go to the island, but I have a severe horse allergy! 😏

Oh my gosh...I had no idea. And I LOVE bicycle decor. I was just there in September ...I will have to come back to shop there!!!

Go in the winter less horses and it is just as wonderful. If you go while the ferry runs you will not see many horses .

I love going in the winter this December was first time to experience the winter. It was beautiful!

Can’t wait to check out your shop- so inviting! 😊❤️

Love looking around while waiting to board!

Will check it out when I get up there

Fun store!

do you have snow up there to ski on the island?

Fun store!

Lots of fun things there!!

Cool I’ll have to check it out next time

I did not know this how did I miss it

Does Sheplers have a store?

Where is it at on the island?

Any Star Line Christmas ornaments?

Need to go there when we go

✋🏻

Looks great. I’m also assuming being a twin engine this will able you to fly more during low ceiling weather vs your single engine planes?

She looks fantastic, can't wait to go for a ride.
