Grand Hotel Dining

Where Every Meal Is an Occasion, Every Event a Tradition

Throughout the history of Grand Hotel, dining has been one of the highlights of every guest experience. Each meal is truly special, thanks to exceptional food by our chefs, unsurpassed service by our staff, and the delightfully distinct ambiances of our 14 bars and restaurants.

Here, dressing up for dinner is a tradition, and sitting down with your family and friends for a meal is an event. After 6:30 PM in the main areas of the hotel and the Main Dining Room, gentlemen are required to wear a coat, tie, and slacks, and women in a dress, skirt, or pantsuit. – View Our Dress Guide

Main Dining Room

Few dining locations are more picturesque than Grand Hotel’s Main Dining Room. It overlooks the world’s longest porch displaying the hotel’s many American flags, as well as the glistening Straits of Mackinac.

Sit down for dinner while enjoying music by the Grand Hotel Orchestra. You may even catch a glimpse of the bellmen taking down the flags for the day — an evening sunset tradition.

  • Our Mackinac Island dining room offers breakfast and dinner daily.
  • We only accept reservations for parties of 10 or more people. To make a reservation, please contact our Concierge at (906) 847-3331 ext. 567.
  • For each service, we are proud to offer gluten-free menu options.

Grand Coffee & Provisions

Located inside Grand Hotel on the lower level, Grand Coffee & Provisions is a new casual dining option offering grab-n-go breakfast and lunch items for Grand Hotel guests.

Pick up a Grand Hotel tea or coffee and breakfast burrito before a morning bike ride. Grab a quick salad or sandwich on your way to play lawn games. Or stop by for an afternoon snack or latte to enjoy on the front porch. We invite you to try this new convenient dining option during your next visit.
